Join us on a nostalgic journey back to 1930's Europe with the new LauRie autumn/winter collection 2008.

Based on the themes Marlene Dietrich, Working, Nordic Simplicity and Venetian Places we present a collection with a very interesting mix. And as always - with the very own casual touch of LauRie. The components of the collection are so-called genuine materials such as felted wool, silk, antique gold and silver, nostalgic brooches, tailoring, covered buttons and hand-made finish. All united by the warm and harmonious colours of nature.

Marlene Dietrich - is decadent luxury, consisting of tailored blazers, chequered and pin-striped fabrics. The style is with a masculine touch harmoniously balanced with a few very well-chosen feminine details. Silk, satin, ribbons and elegant drapings are some of the many twists we have used in this collection.

Working - derives from the wear-proof and comfortable fabrics used for work clothes. It is not the work clothes of today, but clothes created with a nostalgic retrospect and refined by a female touch. The fabrics and colours are marked by time and wear and tear and therefore with a wash-down, dusty and relaxed appearance.

Nordic Simplicity - represents clear-cut and simple shapes. Felted wool and melange knitwear make some interesting surfaces. The simple shapes are supplied with sophisticated details and fabrics of high quality which combined form an urban look and a relaxed elegance.

Venezian Places - is satin and damask, laces and ribbons, theatre and melancholy. Fragility is an important expression in this theatrical world in which fabrics and styles are with many details and an expensive look.

The main colours of LauRie's winter collection are deep and intense and the accessories represent the light. Put together this will create an elegant and harmonious balance between the colour shades.
